Downloading RRADical

To download the official release of RRADical patches please use the CVS repository at Sourceforge.

From time to time I will put up a new snapshot of RRADical here for CVS-challenged downloaders. ;) However if at all possible use the CVS files first.

Don't read any further, unless you want a to experience a really experimental parallel release dubbed:

RRADical new style

This is a test release of the RRADical patches using Geiger-namespaces.

Important note: Please do not use this as base for your patches. It is questionable if this will live on. Only use for testing. Use the RRAD stuff from pure-data.sf.net for real development.

Installation

You need to change Pd paths.

Memento and Utils

Add "memento" (required) and "util" (if you like) to your Pd path:

-path /path/to/newstyle/memento:/path/to/newstyle/util

RRAD

Next add the actual rradical patches to your path, but do not add the rrad directory itself, instead add one above:

-path /path/to/newstyle    # no "rrad" here!!!

This way, you can use the rradical patches by prepending them with "rrad/", for example: [rrad/pattseq /myseq]

Help

Finally to find the help files for rradical, change the help path:

-helppath /path/to/newstyle/help

That's it. You have installed RRADical
